Paul Hogan - Managing Director

Interests: Family comes first with Paul – two young boys and two dogs – tragically the Hogan's lost their beloved daughter, Brontë (12), to a five year battle with leukaemia in March 2011. Long before this Paul had become a fanatical marathon runner, raising well in excess of $100,000 for children's cancer charities. This year he turns 50 and hopes to run his sixth London Marathon in under 3.30 (previous best 3.37). If you want to be bored to tears ask him how his training is going.

Stacey Edwards - Financial Director

Stacey, a Cancerian, is devoted to her family for whom she bakes a great deal of cakes - so many that she has even started making them for airports which want to win anna.aero Cake Of The Week prizes. In the last few years Stacey has also become addicted to running, often up to twice a day. She had even started lying to her friends, telling them she is going home to watch TV and eat sweets, when really she is going out to run 10km.

Daniel Coleman - Event Director & Publisher

Daniel has now been with PPS for over 10 years. He grew up with the aim of being a fighter pilot, but after spending two years of successfully passing aptitude and medical tests whilst studying, he was told his legs were two inches too long to safely eject from any of the RAF's jets. His enthusiasm for aviation led him to work for PPS where he has since experienced more thrills and near death experiences than any possible career provided by the RAF.

Kerry Parks - Office & Accounts Manager

Kerry has now been with PPS for 10 years and can still remember the days when there were only two computers in the office and no internet! Having seen many changes over the years there has always been a new challenge or project for Kerry to use her extreme organisational and, to the point of OCD, efficiency skills in – if you want something done yesterday, see Kerry! With a love of numbers Kerry enjoys working in accounts with Stacey and, even after email made her shorthand redundant, still works closely with Paul on anything and everything that needs doing. Holding a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo Paul often asks Kerry for advice on sit-ups and stretching but still thinks he could put her in hospital!

Jenny Rayner - Sales Director

Jenny has worked on and off at PPS for 15 years, and has worked across most of the business units, giving her a unique understanding of all aspects of the business. She has a keen interest in all things spiritual. She has a husband and three beautiful girls and likes to live life to the full and have as many adventures as possible. She has climbed a waterfall, has been buried alive, and has lived in darkness for a week. She definitely likes a challenge!

Jon Lassetter - Business Development Manager, anna.aero & The Route Shop

Jon has been with PPS for over 10 years now and has enjoyed much success developing magazines in both Europe and North America. He is now using his talents to quickly grow our online products. Before joining PPS he spent years working his way up in the bar sector where he became a talented cocktail flair performer. He became so good that he spent time training TGI Fridays bartenders across the UK to throw bottles behind their heads and make every cocktail under the sun! He has great interest in cars, food & drink, and bad Hollywood movies for which his mind holds a wealth of related useless trivia.

Ian Hill - Publisher, TFWA

Ian has worked across many industries but found his true calling in publishing Dailies for the travel retail sector. He is remarkably well read and knowledgeable about the classics - he read English at St Peter's College Oxford and has travelled the world. He is very good at tennis and has a house full of cats, dogs and grown up children.

Ben Whibley - Head of Exhibitions and Sponsorship, ACI EUROPE & Future Travel Experience

Ben previously worked for UBM for 7 years on the flagship exhibition within the interiors market where he organised exhibitions in the UK, Middle East and China. Now with PPS as the Head of Exhibitions and Sponsorship he is driving sales for the ACI EUROPE events and the newly named Future Travel Experience business unit. With a keen passion to win, Ben also spends his weekends motor racing across Europe for team BWR Caterham. He has won several championships and achieved his first international win in Zolder 2009.

Catherine Noakes - Exhibition & Publications Manager, ACI EUROPE & Future Travel Experience

Catherine can't believe that she's been selling the exhibitions and magazines at PPS for 8 years now – how time flies when you're having fun! Catherine is always ready to embrace with gusto the social aspect of her job and has a voice that can be heard from some distance.

James Howson - Publisher & Exhibition Manager, Airport Operators Association (AOA)

James is embarking on his fifth year at PPS - starting on the ACI EUROPE magazine Communique Airport Business as well as manage our special editions for BAA Heathrow, GMR Delhi International and Dubai Airports. Going on to work as the exhibitions manager for ACI EUROPE Airport Exchange hosted by ADAC in Abu Dhabi and The Schiphol Group in Amsterdam respectively.

As of the beginning on 2013 James will be taking a new role as the publisher of the Airport Operator, as well as manage the Airport Operators Association exhibition and conference held annually in October.

Having travelled extensively at the company's expense over the years, he has enjoyed the delights of such locations as Dubai, Delhi, Barcelona, Munich, Istanbul, Vienna, Abu Dhabi and more. His new role will see him travelling the length and breadth of the UK to likes of Doncaster, Manchester, Dundee and Southend.

Melanie Holcombe - International Sales Manager

Melanie joined PPS in 1998 at the age of 19 and has worked on and off here ever since, across almost all products. This is the sixth time she has returned after living in places such as Greece, Portugal, Turkey, Dubai and Dublin! But She's finally back for the long term now and in her spare time she's a qualified Life Coach. She's about to do her Reiki 2 and LOVEs cooking! ¥

Lynsey Giddings - Conference Director

Lynsey has been with PPS Publications for almost three years, managing the ACI EUROPE conferences. With more than 8 years experience in the events sector, she has worked on a wide range of events from charity events for 10,000+ participants in central London, organising conferences and awards ceremonies for the media industry, to organising networking events for the government. Lynsey read Psychology at Sussex University and with a love of travel, enjoys spending her free time escaping rainy days in the UK for sunnier climates.

Andrea Bevan - Conference Executive

Andrea lives the closest to the PPS offices (under a mile) yet she still drives in every day. Before joining PPS she worked for Swarovski, and no doubt assumed that the world of publishing and events would be just as glamorous, but she soon found otherwise. Despite working in aviation she is absolutely terrified of flying, although she is slowly improving! In her spare time she enjoys shopping, eating, drinking and Bruce Willis films.

Ali Loving - Conference Executive

After graduating from the University of Leeds in 2010, Ali surprised herself whilst backpacking through South America by hiking the Inca Trail to Macchu Pichu, delving down a Bolivian mine and mountain biking down the 'World's Most Dangerous Road'. After falling in love with travelling, organising conferences for PPS is the perfect fit, allowing her to discover new places and at the end of a busy event day – sit down for a gin and tonic.

Ross Falconer - Managing Editor

Ross followed-up his passion for writing by completing a journalism degree. This led him to PPS, where he has worked on various titles relating to airports, airlines and travel retail, progressing to his current position of Managing Editor. A keen armchair sports fan, Ross supports Liverpool FC. Despite having never been to Liverpool, this does not make him a glory-seeker.

Marc Watkins – Editor, anna.aero

Returning for his second stretch at PPS, having worked on setting-up the ERA Regional Report magazine, he left nearly 15 years ago to work in Business Development at Birmingham Airport. Coming back to the world of aviation journalism via 2 years in his home-town airport of Coventry, self-confessed plane spotter Watkins has gotten fatter, balder and has spawned three children since he last teamed up with PPS.

Ralph Anker – Cheif Analyst, anna.aero

Ralph was formerly Head of Business Development at Maersk Air and Head of Network Planning for Go Fly from where he moved to easyJet after its acquisition. Many people are surprised to learn that Ralph has any interests outside of work as he lives and breathes aviation, but in fact he is also very keen on architecture and cars and is succeeding very well at introducing his son to these passions.

Magdalena Anna Fas - Assistant Editor, anna.aero

The latest arrival in PPS, before joining the company Magdalena was trying her luck in the trucking industry in Eastern Europe, but lorries proved to be nowhere near as fascinating as planes. A graduate from Aviation Management BSc at London Metropolitan University, Magdalena is currently studying towards her MSc specializing in humanitarian logistics for a change. In her spare time, she enjoys solving jigsaw puzzles and road trips to anywhere.

Amy Hanna - Assistant Editor

A fascination with the glossy world of magazines started Amy on her perpetual search for exciting experiences that she could put into words, and a week spent with the PPS team in Cannes sparked a keen interest in aviation journalism. Outside of the office, Amy's life revolves around an ever-increasing infatuation with music new and old, and an unhealthy obsession with fashion and pop-culture in all its forms.

Keith Bateup - E-commerce & Web Development Manager

Keith heads up our digital team, however his interest in web development started many years before Web 2.0, back when the only internet browser available was Netscape Navigator. Since then his passion has developed into a highly successful career helping business exploit the benefits of e-commerce. In his spare time he plays guitar (poorly) and enjoys watching his football team, Crystal Palace, lose most weeks.

James Bishop - Senior Online Marketing Executive

James joined the PPS team to drive our digital marketing projects, including building our online marketing partnerships for our global events as well as managing our social media channels. Originally from a small Sussex town, James packed his bags and endured 3 years studying in central Birmingham. He's since spent time in the marketing team at BMW and at a scientific device manufacturer retailing to neuroscientists, discovering that the practice is always more interesting than the theory. James is a hazard prone cyclist and enjoys sport socially.

Chris Reynolds - Web Developer

Chris has always had an inquisitive mind and used to drive his father mad taking electronic devices apart to see how they worked. Since the age of 12 he has had an avid interest in creating websites and web development (as well as computers in general) and is always looking to expand his knowledge regarding all things web related. When he isn't busy being web monkey, Chris enjoys playing games and his guitar.

Paulo Natal - Web Developer

Paulo moved from Portugal to England 3 years ago, just after finishing his degree in Communication and multimedia. He studied web development and worked as a web designer and developer on a freelance basis until joining the PPS team. He has a great passion for sports, especially football and could of become professional if it wasn't for his two left feet.. We just ignored his two left hands too and gave him a chance!

Richard Jende - Head Designer

Richard joined PPS over 7 years ago and works on all things design within the company. Originally a designer working primarily in print, he has now embraced the digital age and loves experimenting with design in new media such as video and web animation. When his nose isn't to the grindstone, he likes nothing more than to play drums for the rock band The Glass Room.

Victoria Wilkinson - Graphic Design

Prior to PPS Victoria worked for Disney Cruise Line as their onboard Graphic Designer, sailing the Caribbean seas and occasionally working on daily newsletters. The terrible weather and lifestyle over there motivated her to return to the UK and pursue a real-life job. Her love of travel brought her to PPS where she could combine her passion for magazine design with exciting travel destinations. She is also an RYA Day Skipper, PADI Divemaster and CPSC Lifeboat Commander!
